Lindsay Clancy’s Ex-Husband Spotted Looking ‘Visibly Stressed’ with New Wife

Patrick Clancy was reportedly seen looking tense and emotional during a rare New York City outing with his new wife as the murder trial of his ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy, continues to unfold in Massachusetts.

Patrick, whose three young children were killed in January 2023, was spotted on what appeared to be the rooftop patio of a Manhattan high-rise with his wife, fertility specialist Rachel Danis.

Witnesses claimed the couple spent roughly 30 minutes taking phone calls and talking with each other, with Patrick reportedly pacing back and forth while staring at his phone.

The pair appeared “visibly stressed,” according to the report, as Lindsay’s closely watched trial entered its third week.

Lindsay is accused of killing the former couple’s three children — 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and 8-month-old Callan — inside the family’s Massachusetts home.

She has admitted strangling the children but has pleaded not guilty to murder charges, with her defense focusing heavily on her mental state following childbirth and the prescription medications she had been taking.

Patrick has remained an important figure throughout the emotional trial, even though his own life has dramatically changed since the tragedy.

He reportedly married Danis, a New York City-based reproductive endocrinologist and fertility specialist, during a small ceremony at Central Park’s Ladies Pavilion in April.

News of the marriage became public around the beginning of Lindsay’s trial.

Patrick’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, previously told the court that Patrick has been attempting to rebuild his life after enduring an almost unimaginable loss.

“Patrick Clancy has suffered one of the worst tragedies that anyone could ever suffer,” Reddington said.

The attorney added that Patrick and Lindsay are now divorced and that Patrick has remarried and started a new family.

Despite everything that has happened, Patrick has publicly said he forgives Lindsay.

He has also taken the witness stand during the trial and offered heartbreaking testimony about the night his children died.

Patrick told jurors that he had left the house to pick up food and medication while Lindsay stayed home with the children.

During the trip, he called her with a question about one of her medications.

“She was pretty quiet. It sounded like she was busy,” he testified.

Patrick said he assumed she was likely bathing the children.

When he returned home, however, he immediately realized something was terribly wrong.

Patrick testified that there was “blood everywhere” and that a window was open.

He rushed outside and found Lindsay on the ground with serious injuries to her wrists and a red mark across her neck. According to Patrick, she was drifting in and out of consciousness.

“She said, ‘I tried to kill myself,’” he recalled.

Patrick then made a frantic 911 call and began searching for the children.

Jurors heard the call in court, although the audio was reportedly muted for courtroom cameras at Patrick’s request.

According to a reporter who was inside the courtroom, Patrick eventually made his way into the basement, where he discovered Cora lying face down with an exercise band around her neck.

He removed the band, but she was unresponsive.

Patrick then found baby Callan nearby with another exercise band around his neck.

He continued searching until he discovered Dawson in his office.

“I knew he was gone,” Patrick told the court.

The devastating testimony has placed Patrick back in the public spotlight as Lindsay’s defense continues presenting its case.

Now, his tense appearance with Danis in New York is offering another glimpse at the enormous emotional toll surrounding a case that has captivated the country for more than three years.
