Trump Reveals Explosive First Acts: Pardons and Deportations

President-elect Donald Trump is wasting no time setting a controversial agenda for his upcoming term. In a candid interview with Time magazine, Trump outlined a series of sweeping actions he plans to undertake within the first hours of his presidency, including pardoning nonviolent January 6 participants, ramping up deportations, and increasing domestic oil production.

The Faith, Family, Freedom ‘Dad Hat’

“We’re going to do it very quickly, and it’s going to start in the first hour that I get into office,” Trump declared. Referring to those incarcerated for their roles in the January 6 Capitol events, he added, “A vast majority should not be in jail, and they’ve suffered gravely.”

The former president’s comments come as he doubles down on his commitment to reshape the political and economic landscape. With the U.S. national debt climbing and inflation impacting American households, Trump criticized the current administration’s policies, vowing to take immediate action.

Foreign Policy: A New Direction?

Trump also hinted at a dramatic shift in U.S. foreign policy. He criticized President Joe Biden’s handling of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, particularly the use of U.S.-supplied weapons against Russian targets. “This has escalated the situation,” Trump said, expressing hope that his return to office could spur peace talks.

“I think the Middle East is easier to solve than what’s happening with Russia and Ukraine,” Trump remarked, adding his belief that the ongoing war would be resolved under his leadership.

Critique of Kamala Harris

The president-elect didn’t hold back in critiquing Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her decision to run for president “a big mistake.” Trump attributed her perceived shortcomings to a lack of public engagement. “She wouldn’t talk to anybody,” he said. “When you avoid the press, people start to ask, ‘What’s wrong?’”

Trump compared Harris’ media strategy to his own. “I’d do interviews with anyone if I had the time,” he said, pointing to his willingness to engage, even with lengthy discussions like his recent three-hour conversation with Joe Rogan.

Praise for Elon Musk

Turning to domestic reforms, Trump lauded Elon Musk’s leadership of the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). “I think Elon puts the country long before his company,” Trump said. Musk’s task? To identify and cut unnecessary federal spending while driving economic growth.

“Look, we have a country that is bloated with rules, regulations, and, frankly, people that are unnecessary,” Trump explained. He emphasized a vision of moving federal workers into private-sector roles to improve productivity.

The Stakes Are High

As Trump prepares to take office, his ambitious agenda has drawn both praise and criticism. His pledge to pardon January 6 participants and overhaul government spending has ignited debate across the political spectrum. With his sights set on sweeping reforms, Trump’s presidency promises to be anything but conventional.

  1. Another immediate action would be to stop the sale of the barriers for the Southern Border that the tax payers have already paid for and make the destruction or sale of said govenement owned sections illegal. This sale by the Bastard in Charge today, Joe Biden is revolting to most Americans, who have any common since, and want our border controlled. There is nothing wrong with any legal immigration, just uncontrolled illegal immigration that comes across our borders at unauthorized locations. f we need barriers to stop this criminal offense so be it.
If Biden is still intent on selling these section off for less than pennies on the dollar then perhaps Texas should step in and buy it all to safe guard it until use as the Courts have already said they can do to protect their borders.

    1. Maybe someone can file a lawsuit against the sale with a “friendly” judge. Get an injunction prohibiting the sale of those assets. Trump would be in office before the lawsuit could be finalized.

  2. AT LAST, SOMEONE WILL BE IN CHARGE TO CARE ABOUT AMERICANS, RATHER THAN ILLEGALS FROM WHO KNOWS WHERE(& HOPEFULLY THEY WILL BE ON THEIR WAY BACK THERE)

  3. Democrats keep talking about a “Smooth Transition of Power”, which is hardly the thing they are doing today. They are openly defying what the majority of the voting public has said they want, and instead are doing the opposite by put road blocks in place to hinder or slow changes. This is not a “smooth Transition of Power”.
It seems Biden is only operating with half a brain issuing Pardons like candy, in a candy store, even to people that aren’t in the candy store! How can he issue Pardons to people who haveno’t been charged with a crime? It only makes me think these people must be guilty instead. Geesh. Is this something the SCOTUS should be stepping in to Stop?
