Airplane Passenger Claims Demonic Attack, Assaults American Airlines Crew in Mid-Air Chaos

Chaos erupted aboard an American Airlines flight out of Savannah, Georgia this week, when a passenger allegedly attacked flight crew members, claiming he was “battling Satan’s disciples.”

Delange Augustin, 31, boarded American Eagle Flight 4162 bound for Miami, Florida, accompanied by his sister, Medjina. Minutes after takeoff, crew members described Augustin suddenly stomping and screaming incoherently, prompting flight attendants to rush to his aid, fearing he was having a medical emergency.

But according to an FBI affidavit, the incident quickly escalated. Augustin allegedly kicked a female flight attendant hard in the chest, throwing her violently across several seats into a cabin window. Witnesses report that Augustin then began punching and kicking the seat in front of him, terrifying passengers nearby.

“He was completely out of control,” said one eyewitness who requested anonymity. “It looked like something out of a horror movie.”

Pilots immediately turned the flight around, landing safely back in Savannah. But as the passengers prepared to exit, the situation worsened. Augustin, reportedly clutching his sister Medjina, lunged at another crew member, delivering what witnesses described as “haymaker punches.” Several courageous passengers intervened, pinning him down until law enforcement arrived.

Augustin was taken to a local hospital after authorities discovered he had swallowed rosary beads during the incident. He was later discharged and booked at Chatham County Jail on federal charges of interference with flight crew members.

Medjina Augustin later explained the bizarre incident, telling officials she and her brother were fleeing to Haiti to escape “religious attacks of a spiritual nature.” She recounted that Delange believed “Satan’s disciples had followed them onto the plane,” and urged her to “close her eyes and pray” during the alleged spiritual confrontation.

“We could feel a spiritual fight happening,” Medjina stated, according to reports. “My brother was fighting for our lives.”

In response, American Airlines praised their crew for professionalism in handling the alarming episode, stating, “Safety and security are our top priorities. We appreciate the professionalism of the entire crew and thank our passengers for their understanding.”

The FBI continues to investigate the unsettling incident, underscoring growing concerns about passenger safety and security on domestic flights.

  1. It’s going to be a long time before I fly again. How many people have you personally seen change after the pokey? Angry, irrational, kinda stupid and just ….different? Young people driving into stationary objects, people passing into oncoming traffic (4 car lengths at high speed), passing in turning lanes?

  2. This maniac is batshit crazy and a verified danger. He should be banned from every fly again and restricted from any form of public transportation!
