Trump Gives Ominous Warning to Iran Amid Their Shocking New Development

President Donald Trump isn’t mincing words with Tehran.

Speaking to reporters Friday, Trump issued a stark warning to Iran’s regime: come to the table for nuclear talks—or face devastating consequences.

“My big preference is that we work it out with Iran,” Trump said. “But if we don’t work it out, bad things are gonna happen to Iran.”

Iran’s Nuclear Race Inches Closer to the Finish Line

Iran is now enriching uranium at 60% purity—just one step below weapons-grade. National security experts say the regime could have a functioning nuclear bomb in weeks if it chooses to sprint toward the finish line.

“They’re playing with fire,” said Gen. Jack Keane, retired four-star general and Fox News senior strategic analyst. “And President Trump is letting them know we won’t stand by while they threaten the world.”

Tunnels of Terror: Tehran Flaunts ‘Missile City’

Instead of backing down, Iran responded with a propaganda stunt. A state-run video, set to ominous music, showed top Iranian military leaders driving through a labyrinth of underground missile tunnels—what Tehran proudly calls “Missile City.”

In the footage, Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri and IRGC Aerospace Commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh toured the tunnels lined with launchers, engines, and missiles pointed at the West.

“This is not just saber-rattling—it’s part of Iran’s broader strategy to intimidate and delay any serious response,” said Behnam Taleblu, a senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. “They want us to think any conflict will be long, bloody, and costly.”

Trump Isn’t Buying It. He’s Reinforcing the Region.

In a show of force, Trump’s Pentagon has deployed two B-2 stealth bombers to Diego Garcia, the remote U.S. military base in the Indian Ocean. These advanced aircraft are capable of carrying 30,000-pound bunker buster bombs—specifically designed to take out underground facilities like the ones Iran is building.

At the same time, the USS Carl Vinson has joined the USS Harry S. Truman in the Middle East, as the Navy doubles down on its readiness. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has extended carrier deployments and authorized fresh strikes on Iranian-backed Houthi militias in Yemen.

“The message is clear,” said former U.S. Navy Captain Chuck Nash. “Iran won’t be allowed to build a bomb or bully our allies without consequences.”

Trump to Iran: Don’t Mistake Strength for Silence

Weeks ago, Trump reached out with a letter urging Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to begin negotiations. The regime’s answer? Maybe—but only indirectly, and only on its terms.

Kamal Kharazi, one of Khamenei’s top advisers, said Thursday the regime was open to “indirect negotiations” with the U.S.—a common delay tactic, critics argue.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi doubled down: “We won’t negotiate directly while threats are on the table. But we may talk indirectly, as we’ve done before.”

Meanwhile, Trump Strikes Back at the Houthi Proxy War

The Trump administration hasn’t waited around. In recent weeks, U.S. forces launched precision strikes on Houthi bases in Yemen—Tehran’s favorite puppet militia.

“Let nobody be fooled!” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “The hundreds of attacks by Houthi thugs are all orchestrated by IRAN. They’ve played the victim, but they’re pulling every string—sending weapons, money, and intelligence.”

A High-Stakes Standoff—But One Side Is Holding the Cards

Iran may be digging tunnels, but Trump is digging in. With warships in the water, stealth bombers in the sky, and a commander-in-chief who doesn’t blink, Tehran faces a choice: talk or take the hit.

“This is the Trump Doctrine at work,” Gen. Keane explained. “Peace through strength. And if Iran doesn’t understand that now, they soon will.”
