A man is dead after falling from the 15th floor of a Times Square hotel early Saturday morning, and authorities are now investigating whether this was a tragic accident — or something much darker.
Police responded to a chilling emergency call around 6:25 a.m. from the 45 Times Square Hotel, located on West 45th Street near Seventh Avenue, just steps from where tourists gather daily to experience the so-called “Crossroads of the World.” When first responders arrived, they found a 39-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive on the sidewalk. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
WITNESS HEARD A WOMAN SCREAMING: “COME BACK, COME BACK!”
An eyewitness in the hotel, an Italian tourist named Davide, said the moment was surreal.
“This morning I woke up to some noise, somebody was shouting,” Davide recalled.
“I heard a lady yelling, ‘Come back, come back, come back!’ right before I heard something hit the ground.”
Police confirmed the man fell from a 15th-floor window, but the big question remains: Did he jump—or was he pushed?
MYSTERIOUS WOMAN TAKEN IN FOR QUESTIONING
Cops escorted a red-haired woman from the hotel just minutes after the man’s body was found. Witnesses say she appeared rattled, clutching a large bottle of water and a cell phone, wearing a cropped dark gray hoodie. She is not under arrest, but was taken in for questioning as investigators piece together the final moments before the deadly fall.
“We’re still determining the nature of the incident,” said an NYPD spokesperson.
“It is too early to confirm whether this was a suicide, an accident, or a possible crime.”

A CITY SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL?
This death comes as New York City continues to struggle under leftist leadership, with crime, drugs, and homelessness returning to levels not seen since the 1980s. Many are calling on leaders like Mayor Eric Adams to take stronger action.
“This kind of tragedy is becoming all too familiar in today’s lawless, Democrat-run cities,” said one local business owner, who asked not to be named. “We used to feel safe walking here in the morning. Now? Not anymore.”
