Another brutal terrorist meets his end as Israel delivers justice from the skies.
One of Hamas’ most notorious figures, Hakham Muhammad Issa Al-Issa, is dead—taken out in a precision Israeli airstrike in Gaza City, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Al-Issa, described by Israeli officials as a chief architect of the barbaric October 7, 2023, terrorist invasion of Israel, was reportedly eliminated Friday night during a series of targeted strikes in the Sabra neighborhood. The IDF confirmed the operation late Friday, posting a photo of a grinning Issa with the word “ELIMINATED” stamped across it.
“This is the man who trained the killers, armed the attackers, and helped plan the slaughter of innocents,” an IDF spokesman said. “His hands were drenched in blood—Israeli and American alike.”
As head of Hamas’ Combat Support unit, Issa was deeply involved in preparing the group’s aerial and naval capabilities. Israeli officials say he didn’t just help launch the October 7 onslaught—he helped build it.
That attack killed 1,200 people, including 43 Americans, and led to roughly 250 hostages being taken across the Gaza border, many of whom remain unaccounted for. Among them: 12 American citizens.
A Career in Bloodshed
Al-Issa was no amateur. He cut his teeth in Middle East battlefields, fighting in Iraq and Syria before relocating to Gaza in 2005. According to Israeli intelligence sources, he brought battlefield experience and advanced training tactics with him—helping Hamas tighten its grip on Gaza after seizing power in 2007.
“He was a military professional for terror,” said retired IDF commander David Tal. “He didn’t just chant slogans—he built weapons systems, training programs, and tactical blueprints. Taking him out is a major blow to Hamas’ operational brain trust.”
According to The Jerusalem Post, Issa was reportedly with his wife and grandson when the airstrike hit. The IDF made no comment on possible collateral casualties.
A Clear Message: No One Is Safe
The strike comes just weeks after the IDF claimed it had likely eliminated Mohammed Sinwar, the brother of Hamas’ top commander, Yahya Sinwar.
In a statement posted to X, the IDF doubled down on its commitment to track down everyone involved in last year’s terror spree:
“We will continue to locate and eliminate all terrorists involved in the October 7 massacre. No matter how long it takes, and no matter where they hide—we will find them.”
For Americans watching from home, Friday’s strike is a stark reminder of the ongoing war on terror—and of Israel’s resolve to hold the masterminds of October 7 accountable.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) posted on social media, “One less terrorist in the world. Israel has every right to defend itself—and we should have their back 100%.”
Analysis: A War That’s Far From Over
Though Issa’s death marks a significant win for Israel, analysts warn that Hamas still has a deep bench of commanders willing to carry out terror operations. Still, eliminating men like Issa sends a powerful message: the clock is ticking for those who orchestrated the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
“Every drone strike is a chapter in this war,” said Tal. “And this one closed the book on a killer.”
