Kai Trump Playfully Snubs Grandpa Trump’s Favorite Drink (Video)

Kai Trump, the 18-year-old granddaughter of President Donald Trump, is making headlines with her latest brand move — and she’s having a little fun at her famous grandfather’s expense.

In a playful new promo video, the University of Miami golf commit walks up to a cooler on her golf cart and pops it open. Sitting inside? A can of Accelerator Active Energy — and right next to it, a cold Diet Coke, the president’s longtime favorite. Without hesitation, Kai grabs the Accelerator and grins at the camera: “Sorry, Grandpa.”

It’s all part of her growing partnership with Accelerator, the energy drink brand that’s quickly becoming a favorite among top athletes and influencers. Earlier this month, Kai officially announced her NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deal with the company at none other than Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida — with a full presidential-style speech to match.

“I’ve partnered with and invested in Accelerator,” she declared, addressing “fellow Americans and content creators.”

Kai now joins an elite team of brand partners that includes Super Bowl champ Travis Kelce, college gymnastics sensation Livvy Dunne, MLB star Evan Carter, tennis powerhouse Paula Badosa, and soccer world champion Lindsey Horan.

Speaking with Fox Business, Kai said teaming up with athletes like Kelce and Dunne was a dream start to her NIL journey.

“It’s pretty cool, especially being partners with such great athletes and being up there with him,” she said.

The rising golf star, who will begin her college career at the University of Miami in 2026, balances a packed schedule of competitive sports, travel, and content creation. For that, she says Accelerator is her go-to.

With zero sugar, no Taurine, and a blend of plant-based thermogenics, natural caffeine, and cognitive boosters, Kai says the drink keeps her energized without the dreaded crash. “It’s so important to ensuring I stay focused and have extra energy when I’m in the gym, on the golf course, studying, traveling, or as part of my daily routine,” she shared.

And while she may be snubbing Diet Coke in the video, it’s all in good fun. After all, when you’re a Trump — and especially one carving your own name in the sports and influencer world — even your energy drink choices make headlines.
