Beauty influencer Stefanie Pieper’s life ended in horror after what began as a festive night out. The 31-year-old social media star vanished after a Christmas party — and days later, her body was found stuffed in a suitcase in a Slovenian forest. Police say her ex-boyfriend confessed to killing her.

Pieper had just gotten home from the party in Graz, Austria, on November 23. Friends say she texted that she’d “arrived safely,” but moments later sent a chilling message: she thought “someone was in the stairwell.” It was the last thing she ever wrote.

Investigators say the man’s car was later found burned in a casino parking lot near the border. He was discovered nearby, disoriented, and taken into custody. “He had traveled to Slovenia several times,” police said. “When officers tried to contact him, he disappeared.”

The gruesome discovery ended a week-long international manhunt. Police confirmed the suspect led them to the spot where he had dumped Pieper’s body in the woods. Two of his family members have also been arrested — investigators believe they may have helped cover up the crime.

Prosecutors say the suspect faces murder and corpse-concealment charges once he’s extradited from Slovenia. Investigators believe the killing was premeditated, possibly planned in the days leading up to her disappearance.
