Iran’s newly installed Supreme Leader may already be fighting for his life.
According to reports emerging from inside Tehran, Mojtaba Khamenei — the 56-year-old son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei — is reportedly in a coma after suffering devastating injuries during recent U.S. and Israeli strikes targeting Iran’s military leadership.
Sources claim the powerful cleric has lost at least one leg and suffered severe internal injuries, including possible damage to his liver or stomach.
The dramatic claims come just days after Mojtaba was thrust into power following the death of his father, who was killed in a massive strike that destroyed an underground command bunker believed to house top Iranian regime figures.
Now the man expected to lead the Islamic Republic through a widening Middle East war may not even be conscious.
Information coming out of Iran remains extremely difficult to verify due to an ongoing internet blackout imposed by the regime. However, an individual inside Tehran reportedly relayed details of Mojtaba’s condition through an exiled dissident living in London.
The source claims Mojtaba is currently being treated at Sina University Hospital in Tehran, where an entire wing has reportedly been sealed off and placed under heavy security.
According to the message sent from inside the country, doctors are battling to keep the new supreme leader alive.
“One or two of his legs have been cut off. His liver or stomach has ruptured. He is apparently in a coma as well,” the source said.
The individual admitted he was not a medical professional but said contacts within the hospital’s trauma unit described the injuries as catastrophic.
Iran’s Health Minister, Mohammad Reza Zafargjani — a trauma surgeon who oversees the country’s medical system — is reportedly personally supervising the treatment.
While Tehran has not confirmed the extent of Mojtaba’s wounds, Iranian state television has acknowledged that he was injured.
The regime referred to him as a “Jaanbaz of Ramadan,” a title traditionally used to describe soldiers seriously wounded in war.
The vague wording has only fueled speculation that Iran’s leadership is attempting to hide the true severity of his condition.
Some intelligence analysts believe the regime fears public panic if Iranians learn their new leader is incapacitated.
“The Islamic Republic cannot afford to appear weak right now,” said one Middle East security analyst familiar with Iranian power struggles. “Admitting their supreme leader is critically wounded could spark chaos inside the regime.”
Even more astonishing claims suggest Mojtaba may not even know he has been elevated to the most powerful position in Iran.
Sources say the cleric was already unconscious when Iran’s ruling elite rushed to name him successor following the assassination of his father.
If true, it would mean the Islamic Republic is currently being run by unelected clerics while its official leader lies unconscious in a hospital bed.
Some reports also suggest Mojtaba may be unaware that several family members — including his wife and one of his sons — were killed in the strikes that rocked Tehran’s leadership compound.
The revelations come as the war between Iran and the U.S.–Israel alliance intensifies.
Iran has launched waves of missile and drone attacks against American and Israeli military installations across the Middle East.
In the past 24 hours alone, Iranian strikes have reportedly targeted facilities near Bahrain International Airport and Kuwait International Airport — both of which sit near critical fuel storage sites used by Gulf energy infrastructure.
Defense officials warn Tehran appears to be expanding its attacks beyond military bases to disrupt the region’s oil and aviation networks.
President Donald Trump has vowed the United States will respond forcefully to any aggression against American forces.
“The regime in Tehran will learn very quickly that attacking the United States has consequences,” a senior administration official told reporters.
With Iran’s leadership wounded, its command structure uncertain, and missiles flying across the region, analysts warn the Middle East could be entering the most dangerous phase of the conflict yet.
For now, one question looms over Tehran: who is actually in charge?

Will he rule like bidum did?
Y’all know that popular way of interpetering insanity ….. The Iranian people seem to depict that very well in that they are doing what they have always done, but expecting a different result. Why are not the grassroots Iranian people up in arms demanding a vote to see who will be their new leader, instead of the same old…same old installing some rag-head cleric to run the nation. They are making zero sense. They on the one hand want to be like the West…but they hold on to their old wore out methods of ruling their country by allowing camel jockies to be installed instead. Only real comment really is …that they cannot have their cake and eat it too…..!
May he suffer tremendously before dying
