Secret FBI Memos Expose Chilling Trump Plot

Former President Joe Biden and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are facing explosive new accusations after newly revealed memos allegedly showed officials wanted to keep evidence against President Donald Trump preserved until after his second term in office — fueling fresh claims the federal government was weaponized against a political opponent.

According to documents obtained by Just the News, agents tied to the FBI’s controversial “Arctic Frost” investigation allegedly approved orders allowing evidence gathered against Trump to remain locked away until at least 2030 — two years after his current term would end.

Critics are now sounding the alarm, arguing the move suggests prosecutors wanted to keep the door open for a future Democrat-controlled Justice Department to revive criminal charges against Trump once he was no longer protected as a sitting president.

The bombshell claims center around the federal investigation into Trump’s efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 election. While former Special Counsel Jack Smith eventually moved to dismiss the case after Trump’s 2024 election victory, the dismissal was made “without prejudice,” meaning charges could theoretically be refiled later.

That detail is now drawing intense scrutiny.

Internal FBI documents reportedly dated February 5, 2025 — just weeks into Trump’s second term — allegedly show bureau officials approved a “Retention of Evidence” order tied to the case rather than following the normal process of relinquishing materials after a prosecution ends.

The documents reportedly carried the title “Arctic Frost – Election Law Matters – Sensitive Investigative Matter” and outlined plans to preserve investigative evidence until at least February 2030.

Trump allies say the revelations confirm long-held suspicions that powerful figures inside Washington were determined to stop him by any means necessary.

Newly appointed FBI Director Kash Patel blasted what he described as an “egregious weaponization of power” aimed at Trump and his supporters.

“The American people deserve to know how this egregious weaponization of power to target political opponents and President Trump happened inside an institution meant to protect them,” Patel said.

“We shut down the weaponized CR-15 squad, and we are going to keep following the facts until there is full accountability. The FBI exists to protect the country, not to preserve political prosecutions for a future administration.”

The controversy is also reigniting debate over whether federal prosecutors crossed the line by pursuing Trump during the heated 2024 presidential race.

Trump and many Republicans repeatedly accused Smith and federal investigators of attempting to interfere in the election by bringing criminal cases against him while he campaigned to return to the White House.

Federal Judge Tanya Chutkan ultimately dismissed the case after citing longstanding Justice Department policy stating a sitting president cannot be prosecuted by his own DOJ.

Still, the reported preservation orders are now raising new questions about what exactly federal investigators planned to do with the evidence once Trump eventually leaves office.

The FBI’s “Arctic Frost” probe reportedly extended far beyond Trump himself, also targeting numerous Republican officials and conservative organizations connected to election challenges following the 2020 race.

Now, with the secret memos surfacing years later, Trump supporters say the documents paint a chilling picture of a federal bureaucracy they believe was prepared to keep politically explosive cases alive indefinitely.
