Andrew Windsor Spotted with ‘Multiple Women’ in France

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may be preparing for a dramatic new chapter far away from Britain.

The disgraced former prince has reportedly been spotted soaking up the sun on the French Riviera with two unidentified women — while insiders claim he may be looking to buy a home in the glamorous region.

Andrew, 66, is currently living at Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk after his spectacular fall from royal life.

But despite his increasingly isolated existence in Britain, reports now suggest the former Duke of York has been quietly traveling overseas and could even be considering a permanent escape to southern France.

The development comes months after Andrew was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He has denied wrongdoing and remains under investigation.

Andrew was released without bail conditions and still has his passport, allowing him to travel outside the United Kingdom.

One source said the possibility of Andrew buying property in France would immediately raise questions about whether he is preparing to put even more distance between himself and the Royal Family.

“Andrew’s world in Britain has become considerably smaller,” the source said, adding that southern France could offer him the privacy and separation he may now be looking for.

Royal author Andrew Lownie has also claimed Andrew has been traveling abroad with the knowledge of his brother, King Charles, 77.

According to Lownie, Andrew has not spent the entire summer hidden away at Marsh Farm.

Instead, the former prince was reportedly seen in southern France dressed casually in a red baseball cap, white pants, Timberland shoes and Ray-Ban sunglasses.

But it was his company that may raise the most eyebrows.

Lownie claimed Andrew was accompanied by two women believed to be in their 40s — one blonde and the other with red hair.

There is no evidence or suggestion that either woman is romantically involved with Andrew.

The reported sightings are said to have taken place around Cannes and Nice, two of the most exclusive destinations on the French Riviera.

And according to Lownie, Andrew may not have been there simply for a vacation.

“It is said he is looking for a property in the region,” the royal author wrote.

If true, such a purchase could mark another major break from Andrew’s former royal existence.

One insider noted that the Riviera — famous for luxury villas, wealthy residents and secluded estates — could provide Andrew with something that has become increasingly difficult for him to find in Britain: anonymity.

“If Andrew genuinely is exploring property there, it would represent another significant step away from his former royal existence,” the source said.

The insider added that Andrew’s reported appearance in Cannes and Nice paints a dramatically different picture from the image many people may have of him living quietly and alone at Sandringham.

Instead, the reports suggest Andrew is still traveling internationally and maintaining friendships and connections outside Britain.

And the image is certainly striking.

Once one of the most recognizable members of the Royal Family, Andrew is now reportedly strolling around the French Riviera in sunglasses and a baseball cap, accompanied by two women and possibly shopping for a new home.

The trip comes after reports that Andrew declined an invitation to spend part of the summer with the Royal Family at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

According to those reports, Andrew feared he would be treated like an outsider if he attended the traditional royal gathering.

His relationship with the monarchy has changed dramatically in recent years.

King Charles stripped Andrew of his remaining Prince and Duke of York titles last October, and Andrew later left Royal Lodge in Windsor for the considerably more secluded Marsh Farm.

The former royal’s reported French getaway also comes amid happier news for his family.

Andrew’s daughter Princess Eugenie, 36, recently welcomed her third child with husband Jack Brooksbank.

Their daughter, Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank, was born in Lisbon, Portugal, on Aug. 3.

Meanwhile, Andrew’s legal troubles continue to hang over him.

Following his February arrest, King Charles made clear publicly that the Royal Family would not interfere with the investigation.

“The law must take its course,” Charles said, adding that it would be inappropriate for him to comment further while the process remains underway.

For now, Andrew remains based in Britain.

But if reports that he is house-hunting along the French Riviera prove true, the former prince’s increasingly distant relationship with royal life could soon become geographical as well.
