Hunter Biden Turns on Kamala Harris

Hunter Biden is taking a flamethrower to the Democratic Party’s carefully managed image of unity — and this time, Kamala Harris is in his sights.

The former president’s son ripped into his father’s former vice president during a wide-ranging interview, bluntly declaring that Harris is “not a very good politician” while raising fresh questions about just how loyal she really was to Joe Biden.

The stunning comments come as reports of bad blood between the Biden and Harris camps continue to pile up following Democrats’ disastrous 2024 election defeat to Donald Trump.

Hunter, 56, made the remarks during an interview with Zeteo Editor-in-Chief Mehdi Hasan about his father’s presidency and the political chaos that erupted after Biden was pressured to abandon his reelection campaign.

Hasan confronted Hunter over his repeated criticism of Harris and asked whether he believed she had been loyal to his father.

“Let me just state it exactly clearly. I think that she was loyal to my father, [but] I don’t think that she was loyal to a fault, however,” Hunter responded.

When Hasan pressed him to explain what that meant, Hunter laughed and offered a cryptic answer.

“That’s between her and me.”

Hunter made it clear he isn’t particularly worried about the political fallout from speaking his mind.

He noted that he “ain’t running for anything” and added that he can “say whatever the f— I want.”

Then came perhaps his harshest assessment.

While Hunter claimed Harris could still have a “deep, rich future in politics,” he poured cold water on the idea that she should automatically be considered the Democratic frontrunner if she launches another White House bid in 2028.

“She’s not a very good politician,” Hunter said.

The extraordinary public swipe is the latest sign that the Biden-Harris partnership — once promoted by Democrats as a close and historic alliance — may have deteriorated dramatically behind the scenes.

Harris herself has acknowledged tensions with Biden since leaving office.

In her memoir 107 Days, the former vice president described feeling hurt and disappointed by a relationship that she said changed after Biden won the presidency.

“My feelings for him were grounded in warmth and loyalty, but they had become complicated, over time, with hurt and disappointment,” Harris wrote.

She claimed that Biden initially welcomed Harris and her husband into the family during the 2020 campaign, only for the atmosphere to shift once they entered the White House.

“After warmly welcoming us into the Biden family at the beginning of the campaign, there seemed to be a change of temperature after the election,” Harris wrote.

The tension became even more pronounced during the chaotic final months of the 2024 presidential race.

After Biden dropped out and Harris took over as the Democratic nominee, she initially devoted a significant portion of her campaign speeches to praising her former boss.

That didn’t last long.

Harris revealed that campaign strategists eventually urged her to stop making Biden such a prominent part of her message.

“I spent the first third of my remarks effusively praising him before I launched into my own campaign speech,” Harris recalled. “I would do that for several weeks until my campaign strategists urged me to stop: ‘It’s time this campaign was about you.’”

But longtime Democratic strategist David Plouffe, who worked on Barack Obama’s successful 2008 presidential campaign before joining Harris’ operation, reportedly delivered an even harsher warning.

“People hate Joe Biden,” Plouffe told her, according to Harris.

The revelations paint a brutal picture of a Democratic ticket trying to distance itself from its own sitting president while simultaneously presenting voters with a message of continuity.

And Harris wasn’t the only one reportedly keeping score.

Biden allies have pushed back aggressively since the former vice president began publicly discussing what happened inside the administration and during the disastrous 2024 campaign.

Political observers have warned that the feud could become even uglier if Harris attempts another presidential run.

Presidential expert Leon Wagener has claimed there is a “deep well of dislike and distrust” between the two camps and suggested Biden allies could retaliate if Harris reveals too much.

Political reporter Mark Halperin has issued a similar warning, claiming Biden’s team possesses damaging stories about Harris’ time as vice president.

“If the Biden people feel threatened, you will hear stories about Kamala Harris as vice president that will not make her look good,” Halperin said.

Now Hunter Biden appears increasingly willing to air at least some of the family’s grievances himself.

For Republicans, the Democratic infighting offers another reminder of just how badly the party’s 2024 coalition fractured as Biden’s presidency collapsed and Harris scrambled to replace him against Trump.

And with both the Biden and Harris camps apparently sitting on years of private grievances, Hunter’s latest attack may only be the beginning.
