Sydney Sweeney ‘Converting to Judaism’ for Scooter Braun?

Sydney Sweeney’s whirlwind romance with music mogul Scooter Braun may be heading toward a life-changing commitment, and it involves far more than a wedding ring.

The 29-year-old Hollywood star is reportedly exploring a conversion to Judaism as her relationship with Braun, 45, grows increasingly serious, with insiders claiming the couple has already discussed marriage, children and building a future together.

According to Page Six, the Euphoria actress has met with two rabbis while learning more about her boyfriend’s Jewish faith. The discussions reportedly began as the couple considered what their future family might look like.

“The couple is discussing having their own family and Scooter feels strongly on the subject,” an insider told the outlet.

The reports have sparked fresh speculation that one of Hollywood’s most talked-about romances could soon lead to an engagement.

Sweeney, who grew up in a Christian household, reportedly took another significant step in September when she joined Braun for Rosh Hashanah services at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Braun, who was raised in a Jewish family and is the grandson of Holocaust survivors, has frequently spoken about the importance of his faith and heritage. He shares three children with his former wife, Yael Cohen, whom he divorced in 2022.

For Sweeney, a conversion would represent a deeply personal commitment requiring religious study, guidance from a rabbi and participation in Jewish traditions. The process can take months or years, depending on the religious community and individual circumstances.

However, neither Sweeney nor Braun has publicly confirmed that she has decided to convert or formally begun the process.

The religious speculation comes as the couple’s once-private relationship becomes increasingly public.

Their romance first attracted attention during Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s lavish wedding celebrations in Venice, Italy, in June 2025. They made their relationship Instagram official in April 2026, and Braun has since been increasingly open about his feelings.

On Sweeney’s 29th birthday in September, the music executive posted a heartfelt tribute describing her as an extraordinary partner who had changed his outlook on life.

“You make me smile harder, laugh louder, adventure more, and dream bigger,” he wrote.

Behind the romantic public displays, sources claim the couple is already considering marriage.

An insider told Us Weekly in October that the pair had discussed getting engaged and were serious about their future. The source also claimed Sweeney has developed a close relationship with Braun’s three children.

Although Braun is reportedly open to expanding his family, Sweeney is said to want to wait a few more years before becoming a mother.

Meanwhile, another source has claimed Braun is eager to propose and even compares his famous girlfriend to Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe.

The comparison comes with an interesting historical connection. Monroe also converted to Judaism during her relationship with playwright Arthur Miller, whom she married in 1956.

For Sweeney, the rumored religious conversion would mark another surprising chapter in a remarkable period of personal and professional change.

The actress ended her long-running engagement to film producer Jonathan Davino in early 2025 before finding romance with Braun, a former celebrity manager whose high-profile career has included working with some of the biggest names in music.

Now, after more than a year together, their relationship appears to be moving well beyond a typical Hollywood fling.

Whether that means an engagement, a new religious commitment or eventually children remains uncertain. But with reports of serious family discussions and Sweeney’s growing involvement in Braun’s faith, the couple’s next chapter is attracting plenty of attention.

For now, Sweeney is keeping one of the biggest decisions of her personal life private.
