Fox New Star Defends Melania Trump After ‘Offensive’ Attack from Joy Behar (Video)

Fox News contributor Brett Cooper hits back hard: “It’s not about you being a woman, Joy. It’s just you.”

Joy Behar is once again taking aim at President Donald Trump—and this time, it’s personal. On Wednesday’s episode of The View, the liberal co-host claimed Trump “doesn’t like strong women” and surrounds himself with “obedient” females who only exist to stroke his ego. But conservative women weren’t having it.

Among them was Brett Cooper, the 22-year-old host of The Brett Cooper Show and newly signed Fox News Media contributor. Appearing on Fox & Friends Thursday morning, Cooper didn’t hold back.

“The accusation is completely ridiculous,” Cooper said bluntly. “Trump’s entire circle is filled with strong, capable women who have accomplished far more than Joy Behar ever has.”

Behar, a longtime Trump critic, claimed the former president once targeted her for joking about his hair—while ignoring similar jokes from male comedians. She framed it as sexism. Cooper called that nonsense.

“Maybe it’s not because you’re a woman, Joy,” Cooper shot back. “Maybe it’s just because you’re Joy Behar. And Trump doesn’t want to deal with your constant tantrums.”

Melania, Noem, Bondi—Trump’s Circle of Powerhouse Women

Behar’s comments didn’t just insult the president—they dismissed the achievements of several influential conservative women.

Cooper jumped to the defense of First Lady Melania Trump, who recently led a high-profile campaign in support of the Take it Down Act, legislation aimed at protecting children from online exploitation.

“It’s incredibly offensive to act like Melania Trump is some kind of ornament,” said Cooper. “She speaks six languages, has written books, and regularly challenges Trump’s opinions behind the scenes. That’s not weakness—that’s strength.”

In fact, Trump’s current administration includes more women in top-tier roles than any Republican president in history. Among them:

• Kristi Noem – Secretary of Homeland Security
• Pam Bondi – Attorney General
• Tulsi Gabbard – Director of National Intelligence
• Karoline Leavitt – White House Press Secretary
• Susie Wiles – Chief of Staff, and the first woman ever to hold the title

All are outspoken, highly accomplished, and unapologetically pro-Trump.

“These are not wallflowers,” said Cooper. “These are women who run agencies, shape policy, and challenge their male colleagues. Behar pretending they’re not ‘strong’ because they support Trump is sexist in itself.”

A Tired Narrative from the Left

This isn’t the first time liberal elites have tried to frame Trump as hostile to powerful women. Billionaire Mark Cuban echoed the same claim last year, telling The View that Trump avoids “strong, intelligent women” because they “intimidate him.”

At the time, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt fired back: “That’s not just a ridiculous insult—it’s an attack on every woman who works in this administration and supports this president.”

Behar now finds herself in similar territory—and, once again, conservative women are answering back.

“Joy wants to paint all conservative women as brainless,” Cooper added. “But what she’s really upset about is that we don’t need her permission to speak.”
